Good agents don’t stay silent during tense moments; they explain, guide, and talk through problems before they turn into deal breakers.

In real estate, deals don’t fall apart because of the price. Instead, they fall apart because people aren’t talking, and I’ve seen it happen too many times. A lot of agents avoid the hard conversations, hoping things will just work out. But reality doesn't work that way. You can’t be afraid to have the conversation, especially the tough ones.

When I’m in a deal, I don’t hesitate to speak up. I make the call and I talk it through with my clients. I say, “Here’s what we’re planning to do. We’ll put it in writing.” so they can get a better understanding of what is going to happen. That’s how we make sure the deal works for both the buyer and the seller and this puts their minds at ease.

Most agents miss this. The truth is, a lot of agents don’t know how to talk to the other side. They often freeze up or avoid saying what needs to be said because they're afraid to say it. This is a huge problem because when the communication breaks down, the trust can disappear and the deal falls apart. You need someone who can step in and calmly say, “Let’s make this work for everyone.” That’s what I do.

When agents avoid hard conversations, they risk losing the deal and the client’s trust.

A plan on paper makes a difference. It’s one thing to talk, and it’s another to show a plan. When I say, “This is what we’re doing, and here it is in writing,” it shifts the conversation. It builds confidence and takes the pressure off the seller. This also gives the buyer peace of mind.

Buying or selling a home is stressful enough. The last thing you need is an agent who keeps quiet when something needs to be said. My clients don’t worry about that because I make the calls and do the talking. I also solve problems before they become roadblocks.
